A Glimpse at Brosco’s Valve Manufacturing & Maintenance Services
Industrial valves do more than just regulate fluid flow – they ensure safety in factories and manufacturing units, facilitating proper working conditions and preventing accidents. We at Brosco are committed to providing premium-quality industrial valves of different types, from ball and check valves to gate valves, globe valves and safety valves. But we do more than just manufacturing them.
Our service extends to assisting our clients closely with valve maintenance and repair, long after they have installed our products. Such services ensure the durability of our industrial valves – and our associations with our esteemed clients.
Industrial Valve Manufacturing
As a premium valve manufacturing company, we offer bespoke industrial and supply valves. Our valve manufacturing process corresponds to international standards of quality, with our core team having over 27 years of hands-on experience in this field. We assist our clients with the end-to-end installation process, from understanding their valve requirements to having the valves installed and deployed. Here are some types of industrial valves we manufacture:
- Ball Valves: This type of valve comprises a rotating ball at its centre. The ball entails a hole, or bore, at its centre, which controls the passage of fluids. The shaft fixed on top of the ball valve is turned using manual or automated levers, helping open or close it. Ball valves have several modern applications and are used in several industries, including food and beverage and pharmaceuticals.
- Check Valves: These are specifically designed to prevent backflow of fluids, which can cause contamination at the source. Check valves ensure that fluid flow is always unidirectional, so that there’s no backflow in the system. These are available in various sizes and shapes, with the ideal one depending on the specific requirements.
- Globe Valves: Globe valves operate with the help of an internal baffle. They consist of a disc, which may be moved to open or close the valve. These valves are of three types – T-type, angle, and Y-pattern.
The most common ones are T-type globe valves, with horizontal seats. Angle globe valves have 90-degree ends, allowing fluids to pass in a single perpendicular turn. Finally, Y-pattern globe valves are found in places with frequent pressure drops. - Gate Valves: Gate valves either completely block or completely allow the passage of fluids in pipelines. They consist of a shaft or stem, which can be rotated using a spindle. When the shaft rotates, the gate opens, letting fluids pass through it. Gate valves are commonly used in the pipeline industry, wherein the direction of fluid flow isn’t fixed.
Industrial Valve Repair & Maintenance
The other aspect of our services involves the repair and maintenance of industrial valves. Our after-sales support team constantly coordinates with our clients and initiates any repairs needed. Furthermore, we offer regular valve maintenance services, so that the industrial valves we have deployed remain in good working condition for long periods. Here are the steps involved in our valve maintenance process:
- Release pressure: The first step we follow is to release pressure from the industrial valve—an essential process to prevent injuries and environmental damage.
- Use of lapping machine: Next, with the help of a lapping machine, we make the valve seat even and ensure a tight seal.
- Lubrication: Lubricating the different components of the valve, including the stem threads and nuts, is essential to prevent wear and tear.
- Cleaning and tightening: Finally, we clean the valve parts thoroughly and tighten bolts and nuts to the torque, so that there are no leakages or accidents.
Besides following this regular maintenance process, we connect with our clients frequently to gauge valve performance and offer any assistance they might need.
As industrial valve manufacturers with several years of core expertise, we at Brosco gauge your requirements carefully and provide end-to-end valve installation and maintenance solutions.
